Who we are
I’m MILTON. the guy behind Benny’s Auto Key, but the heart of this place has always belonged to my dad, Benny.
He started cutting keys in a small shop in Juárez, Mexico back in the 80s. He brought that same work ethic to Colorado in November of 2000, in search of a better life for his family. For over twenty years he ran a mobile locksmith van, showing up day or night with a heart to serve. He wasn’t one to advertise much, but his reputation still grew the old-fashioned way: word of mouth from satisfied clients. People trusted him because he gave more than he had to, always tried to charge fairly, and treated every driver like family.
My obsession was always with cars
I grew up riding shotgun in that van, and to my 9 year old self, making keys was cool, but my obsession was always with cars. Nothing excited my friends and I more than hearing a high pitched MK4 Supra zooming on the street. Everything about cars would get my heart pumping, from decals and underglow (which is coming back and I’m here for it), to a straight piped miata, to an LS swapped 240z.
MY TIME TO TAKE THE KEYS
Benny passed away on July 9th, 2025, and he left behind a phone that still rang with people asking for “Benny,” because they knew he’d take care of them. So when it was my turn to take the keys (literally), I kept his name on the side of the van and pointed everything toward the cars I love. Same heart to serve people, same kindness and generosity, and now with the highest quality products and services, and the best protection available on the market.
